Number Wheels are a maths teaching resource designed to target specific mathematical concepts. Students complete number wheels by starting in the centre and applying the operation to calculate the missing part of the equation.
This is a free teacher resource with some of the number wheels (a sample of 5 wheels) included in our addition number wheel packs.
Included in each full pack is:
2 sheets of number wheels (12 wheels) with numbers to 10;
2 sheets of number wheels (12 wheels) with numbers to 100;
1 sheet of number wheels (6 wheels) for the inverse operation (outside completed and middle left blank); and
1 sheet of blank number wheels (6 wheels) for you - or your students - to create your own.
The full packs are designed for you to print entire sheets as worksheets or to cut and laminate individual wheels for students to complete with wipe-off markers. See them here.
Be sure to also check out our multiplication number wheels here.
