Product Description

Chase the Cheese is a fun-filled maths teaching game for students to investigate probability and consolidate basic addition facts.

Students use this resource to explore experimental probability when finding the sum of two dice rolled.  They'll soon discover that placing all of their mouse tokens on the 2 or the 12 may not be a good idea!

Teaching Tips:  After the students have had some time to play the game, explore the theoretical probablility by considering all possible outcomes (and that a sum of seven is most likely).  Then ask the students to record the data for their games and discuss the difference between the theoretical and experimental probability.  (GREAT FOR YEAR 6 QCAT!)
Some teachers like to use counters (one colour for each player) instead of the mouse tokens.
